Pier & Beam houses have a possible enemy that may be more destructive than termites. Wood decay fungi grow and feed on wood that has a moisture percentage of 15% and greater. The understructure support frame is close to the ground and many times enclosed around the perimeter possible creating a very costly scenerio.
We offer understructure inspections checking for the presence of wood decay fungi, inadequete ventilation, excessive moisture, plumbing leaks and other problems that may exist under structures. The inspection comes with a report detailing problems, potential problems and recommendations for corrections. A diagram detailing everything in the report.
